Charlotte Doily

These photos were taken by my daughter on our walk around Discovery Park a few years ago. The morning started out with fog, but then the clouds slowly vanished to leave clear skies. As we wandered along the short trail around the park, we noticed hundreds of spider webs clinging to the overgrown weeds. Beads of crystal clear dew were delicately strung across the nearly invisible threads. It was a magical moment. Seeing those spider webs inspired the Charlotte Doily series. We named it after the book, Charlotte's Web.
